Trolmaster Dual Condition Adapter for Hydro-X System (DCC-1)

TrolMaster DCC-1 represents a simple solution for controlling one device with more than one condition. For example, people often like to turn on exhaust fans when the temperature or humidity is too high; they turn off CO2 when the exhaust fans are turned on. There are many other examples where two conditions can either be combined or separated.

The DCC-1 is designed to be used in combination with one of the TrolMaster plug-in style modules (DSC-1, DSH-1/2, DST-1/2, DSP-1/2, DSV-1, and DSD-1).

After connecting to the plug-in module using the RJ12 cable built into the DCC-1, the DCC-1 will work with this plug-in module and control any device connected to the plug-in module.

The DCC-1 can also be set to operate in two different ways using the Interlock feature.

INTERLOCK OFF: When the interlock function of the DCC-1 is set to off, each state connected with a given pair of modules used together (modules used in parallel) can be individually activated to activate the device.

Examples of the above for off interlocking would be:

• Turning on the exhaust fan to reduce temperature or humidity.
• Turning on the exhaust fan at night using a recycling timer OR when humidity is too high.

INTERLOCK ON: When interlock blocking is selected for the DCC-1, BOTH conditions connected with a given pair of modules used together must be activated in order for the device to be activated TOGETHER (modules used in series).

Examples of the above for on interlocking would be:

• Turning off the CO2 device when the exhaust fan is running.
• Turning off lights if the room gets too hot.
