In the Capillary Matting configuration, a large rectangular capillary mat (not included in the delivery) is placed on the Tray2Grow tray and pushed into the channels. A root control foil (not included in the delivery) is placed over the capillary mat. Up to four seed containers Tray2Grow can then be placed on it. The capillary mat absorbs moisture and fertilizer from the container. Moisture and fertilizer pass through the holes in the bottom of each seed container into the growing medium and further irrigate and nourish the young plants.
