If you want to improve the accuracy and lifespan of your Bluelab pH meter, you need to get used to regular cleaning and calibration. Calibration is an easily achievable process, the same for all Bluelab pH meters and pens.

After cleaning the pH probe, you will need to calibrate it using pH calibration solutions at two reference standards - 4.0 and 7.0 pH. After calibration, you can immediately start measuring pH again. You will need to recalibrate whenever you clean the pH probe and when the meter alerts you that calibration is necessary.
