Guano is a mixture of black Guanokalong powder and humic acids. Guanokalong powder comes from naturally fermented bat excrement from caves in Madagascar and Indonesia.
Guano black is a rich source of organic nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium, enzymes, and other organic substances. The most important element is phosphorus. Phosphorus plays a significant role in how plants grow and function.
Seedlings and roots grow faster and fruits are formed optimally when there is enough phosphorus present in the soil. Humic acids are created from 100% Leonardite, also known as highly oxidized lignite. Guano black acts as a basic fertilizer and humic acids help plants to absorb various available elements more quickly.
Guano black releases nutrients slowly, over a period of approximately 3 to 6 months, making root burning almost impossible.
Unique enzymes and high content of calcium and magnesium stimulate the life of microorganisms in the soil. Microbial life in the soil helps convert phosphorus into nutrients that plants can absorb.
For complete and thorough fertilization of the planting substrate and/or garden, it is advisable to combine Guano black with other fertilizers. Healthy soil shows the correct balance between individual nutrients and thriving microbial life.
Benefits of using Guano black:
Soil preparation
Supports microbial life
Creates a high proportion of permanent humus
Reduces stress from transplanting and the need for water
Increases pH and water retention capacity.
To achieve the best results in the garden, Guano black should be used as follows:
When used in the soil, the following area can be fertilized:
1 kg is suitable for 2 to 4 m2
When used in pots and/or seedbeds, mix 2 measures of 50 grams of Guano black into 15 liters of growing substrate or soil.
In the later stage, sprinkle the soil with Guano black as needed and mix well. When used in pots, sprinkle the soil and water it to absorb well.
Also suitable for coconut substrates.
