All·Mix® Peat Free is an innovative and sustainable alternative to peat-based growing media which does most of the work for you - creating the optimum environment for plants to flourish throughout the year. This heavily prefertilized substrate mixture emulates a rich outdoor soil with a full micro active ecosystem, covering the full growing cycle. Suitable for a wide range of plants, such as flowers, vegetables, houseplants and shrubs, this versatile substrate has been designed to have enough nutrient-fuelled power to sustain lush growth for a couple of weeks, eliminating the need to add additional nutrients in the early stages, thanks to its pre fertilized composition. This nutrient rich substrate contains only natural organic elements rather than mineral salts such as magnesium or sulfates that you might find in synthetic fertilizers. This gives All·Mix® Peat Free a high Electrical Conductivity (EC) value. And while its organic elements are impossible to measure, they do have a selfregulating system, which helps maintain the pH values at the correct level. This entirely peat-free substrate, is composed of alternative organic materials. These materials include composted bark, coir (coconut fiber), perlite, miscanthus and other renewable resources. The blend is designed to provide similar benefits to peat, such as good water retention, aeration, and nutrient availability, without the environmental impact of peat extraction.
